As time passed until whitsun
Egenolff returned as he’s pledged
In shame Naja greeted her loved one
Admitting to her loss of his gift

Up these cliffs – a raven’s nest in a crack
Climb in vain – and you shall face certain death

Insisting on foolish ambitions
The young man faced the slope
Naja begging for reason
As the ring did not replace their love
